University of Hong Kong

The University of Hong Kong is a public research University in Hong Kong and was founded in 1911. It is often referred to as one of the most prestigious Universities in Asia. The main campus of the University covers 160,000 square metres, where the buildings are some of the few remaining examples of British colonial architecture in Hong Kong.

To provide additional space for student accommodation the Centennial Campus was built at the western end of the main campus. The construction of the campus began at the end of 2009 and was completed in 2012.
